Beginning in the raw chocolate world, Kari started a chocolate company with her friend AJ Wentworth in 2008. She quickly moved on spending 8 months in Central America studying traditional chocolate making. Making bean-to-bar chocolates with beans she imported herself, Kari created a private following. Over the years she has continued to consult on other chocolate companies helping with flavor profiles and design. She continues to travel the world seeking out the best bean-to-bar companies.
