Customer service is a fine art, ensuring the customer and salesperson both get what they want. You have to be present but not pushy. You have to tell a story and be genuine. You have to be observant. Kari thrives at this. She believes every job no matter what level or field has a sales aspect to it, “so you better be good at it”. Kari has worked at retail shops and festivals around the world. Her favorite jobs have been on the wholesale end of business, working with small health food shops, and larger companies like Neiman Marcus.
